Walla Walla Bing Bang – We’re a little bit different

Locals Shane and Melissa Williams have created and opened a new Early Learning Centre in Harwood which has to be seen to be believed; it’s a kids paradise. Shane and Melissa have owned and operated centres in various locations over the past 16 years.

Offering out of the box thinking that challenges what a traditional child care centre has to offer has lead to a unique experience in an immersive setting. Walla Walla Bing Bang’s slogan is “we’re a little bit different”.

The centre has three separate rooms that cater for children from six weeks to 14 years of age.

Little Tugboats – the babies and toddlers room caters for children from six weeks to three years of age with three staff and up to 14 children.

The Trawlers – their preschool room caters for children from three years to five years of age with two staff members and up to 22 children. A kindergarten program is run by a Bachelor qualified teacher.

The Cane Cutters –  school age room caters for children who have started school for before and after school care and vacation care. This room caters for up to 14 children and one staff member. Before and after school care is available for Harwood, Chatsworth Island and Iluka schools. There is a private bus from Iluka and Chatsworth.

Children feel right at home as the rooms have been designed to be warm, comforting, secure and reflect everyday life. Located right on the river the Centre is bright and inviting with amazing river views.

All meals and snacks are provided, meals are made fresh on site on the premises by Madison, a qualified chef.

There are many different zones in the outdoor area guaranteed to fuel your child’s imagination with play structures, climbing nets, sandpit, grassed areas and role play areas.

Children have the opportunity to learn about where their food comes from with chickens, vegetable gardens and fruit trees. This encourages children to eat healthy.
