Ulmarra – The First Forty Years. This project was originally, unknowingly, started by Ken Watkins, Kevin Watkins father, when, in the 1980’s he commenced collecting stories and photos from the local residents of Ulmarra. Since Kevin Watkins’ retirement he has enthusiastically adopted his father’s desire to tell anyone who would listen all about the early Ulmarra history. This book is a labour of love for Kevin, having spent more than 20 years researching Ulmarra’s history, as recognition of his father for his love for Ulmarra and its roots.

The launch of this long-awaited book was held on Sunday December 9 at the Coldstream Gallery, Ulmarra.
