With all the new development happening in Yamba the traffic in Yamba Road will increase dramatically.

To take pressure off this road and the shopping centre roundabout maybe it is time to develop the gazetted bypass from Korlora Lake to Coldstream Street.

The easement already exists and part of the road is already constructed by the developer of the new industrial estate. This would halve the traffic on Yamba Road and make it much easier to gain access from side roads and residences.

The Council has allowed all the new development but it also must supply the infrastructure to handle the increase in people and traffic.
