Smashed windows in Maclean CBD

Three retail businesses in Maclean’s CBD which were targeted on New Year’s Eve have finally had their smashed windows replaced.

Coffs/Clarence Police District Chief Inspector Joanne Reid said that the three smashed windows occurred during the evening of the 30 December, early morning of 31 December.

“The Newsagent, Eyecare Plus and LJ Hooker were the victims of the damage,” Insp Reid said.

“Police followed up some CCTV from neighbouring businesses that show a suspect male in the area at the time (who is known to police) and the investigation is ongoing,” she said.
