RUOK? community day

An RUOK? Community Day held in Market Square, Grafton was “a fantastic team effort from a team of dedicated community workers”, says Tracey Duroux, Bulgarr Ngaru Medical Aboriginal Corporation’s youth engagement officer.

“Bulgarr Ngaru’s partnership with Headspace and endorsement from Our Healthy Clarence made our RUOK Community Day … a successful event.

“It was an honour to work with such an amazing group of people to engage with community, to increase awareness around mental health, improved wellbeing and to encourage people to come together, check in on one another and ask the question RUOK?.

“This is particularly important with our young people, who can be the most vulnerable when it comes to mental health and wellbeing.”
