Ramping up to Ride and Race at Maclean Dirt bike Club

In a bid to revive Maclean Dirt Bike Club an enthusiastic newly formed committee with members located in Maclean, neighbouring areas and as far as QLD have put their hands up to help redevelop and support the growth of MDBC.

MDBC was formed back in the 1980’s and has been the home to many well known and talented motocross riders. With many younger riders based in the area, MDBC is set to run come try days, coaching, practice and race days in a bid to re enforce the safety aspects of motorbike riding in a controlled and managed environment.

With great support from Clarence Valley Council, Go Girl Racing Australia and Scenic Rim Motorsport our first event, Go Girl Racing Australia – Lucas Oil, will be raced on April 12 – 16. The event is open to all female and male riders aged 4 years through to 50 plus and is the only event Australia wide to support female growth and development by running full female only classes. This will be a great event to reopen with, as it is about fun, family and atmosphere, everything Maclean Dirt Bike Club is about!

We are in need of your support, our first working bee is on this coming weekend (February 16-17) and we are in need of volunteers to help perform some general tidying up and repair work to our track and canteen. A few hours of help would be greatly appreciated.

If you also have a business or know of someone who would love to get involved with helping or sponsoring MDBC we would love to have you on board as a helper or as club sponsor. Let us promote your business.
