There was no shortage of special family events in the Lower Clarence over the Christmas / New Year holiday period, beginning with the Lawrence Rodeo in Maclean. Then followed the Brooms Head Family Fun Day; Yamba Rotary Twilight Markets; MacMarket Day at Maclean; Iluka Pignic Races and Yamba Bowlo Waterslide Fun Day. See inside this edition for a full pictorial wrap-up these events.

… the Independent would like to ask for your support. The community is reading our paper more than ever and embracing the content we produce, but advertising revenues across the media as a whole, are falling.
