Sports

Plenty of activity with Coutts Crossing Recreation Inc

Squash

Squash is a great way to keep fit and use up those extra calories from holiday food and the rest.

Our summer competition returns the week commencing February 4. All grades and ages are welcome.

Social and junior coaching skills are held on Monday afternoons from 5.30pm; all enquiries with John Maloney on 0407 098 717.

Golf

After a break (firstly due to a flood then Christmas and holidays) play will resume Wednesday February 5 for mixed social play.

We are a club which is reforming and growing. We would like to see as many juniors as possible on the course this year, with intensive coaching to help boost junior golf. We will be affiliating with Golf NSW. This will give us more opportunity to achieve grants to hold senior and junior competitions for visiting players and for our members to compete away as well. With the recognition of handicaps on 9 hole courses, our avenues have opened considerably. All enquiries with Julie Burke on 6649 3559.

Croquet

A much needed rest on our playing Green has paid off as there was nothing much more than dirt.

Rain eventually came by hundreds of millimetres and the park is now much improved and is now nicely grassed.

Play will resume on February 2 at 9am. A delicious morning is always enjoyed. Membership is $15 and the playing fee is $5. We play in James McIntosh Park adjacent to the tennis courts. Any enquiries with Julie Burke on 6649 3559.
