On Wednesday April 17, five members of Yamba Lions Club presented Past Lion Graham Poulsen with a scooter that the Club had originally purchased for our Life Member, Lion Ken Malloy. Ken could no longer use the scooter, so the Club offered it to Graham. He was totally ‘chuffed’ to receive it, as he no longer has a car and he needs to visit his partner who is in care and this gives him the freedom to move around town when necessary.

The Club has been busy again with Monday morning Bingo and Tuesday evening Bingo, plus raffles at the Golf Club Thursday evening and the monster raffle at Bowlo Sports & Leisure Yamba every Friday night. Being holiday time, these events are heavily supported.

Several members do pancakes at the Blue Dolphin Caravan Park on the Thursdays during the holidays which are very popular with holiday makers.

At the Lions meeting held on Thursday April 11, president Judy inducted a new member to the Club, Kurt Jaques, and we wish Kurt all the best and hopes he enjoys being part of such a great Club.
