It has taken a while but the calculations have been made (as well as the trophies) and the winners for the annual MHS surfing contest were decided prior to breakup.

In the open short board division (following in his family footsteps) was Harley Walters. In the girls open final the winner was Lilli Young; the long board final with a last minute glory wave was William Woldseth and in a tight final in the bodyboard division was Gus Gilbert.
