Our next meeting is on Saturday February 16, at the Presbyterian Church Hall, Church Street Maclean. Plants are benched by 1pm for the start of the meeting, after the judging at 1.30pm. Lucky door and raffle prizes are included, plus afternoon tea. We welcome all our new members, and all long-time supporters.

Vice president Terry Bird chaired the January meeting which included his and other experienced growers’ handy hints.

We have a line-up of interesting guest speakers this year, happy to share their experience with other nature enthusiasts.

Both Judge’s Choice and Popular Vote orchid went to Neil & Carol Campbell’s Vanda Majik Spots ‘Blue’, while both Judge’s Choice and Popular Vote flower went to Ken Woods’ Tacca integrefolia, alsoknownas bat plant.
