Maclean & District Orchid Society Inc

Our Spring Show took place at the Maclean Bowls Club at the end of September, with another spectacular variety of beautiful blooms to admire, plus plants for sale.

Revell; white frame/mat – Dianne Moran.

At our meeting in September, a diverse 109 lovely plants were benched. Both Judges’ Choice and Popular Vote winner – Narelle Francis, for her floriferous Brassidium Yellow Star ‘Golden Gambol’ in the Oncidium Alliance section; Judges’ Choice Flower – Sue King’s Rose; and Popular Vote Flower, a tie between Sue’s Rose and Helen Connolly’s Cyclamen.

Next meeting is on Saturday October 19, at the Presbyterian Church Hall, Church Street Maclean. Plants are benched by 1pm, for a 1.30pm start after the judging, and includes lucky door and raffle prizes, plus afternoon tea.
