Unfortunately our senior triples team of Alastair, Doug & Des that competed in the Zone final at Cudgen on Saturday were defeated by a very strong Lismore Heights team. Congratulations guys on making the final.
Des Johnson also came up against strong opposition in the Zone final of Champion of Champion Singles in Peter Taylor. Des played very well but Peter was too strong winning 31/11.
We have a visit from Park Beach coming up on Sunday August 18. Please place your name on the sheet if you are playing – 9:30am start.
Nominations close for our Open Singles (men and ladies) on August 16, with sectional play matches set for August 24-25.

Pennants
A Pennant appreciation day has been set for Saturday September 7 at 10am. All players, partners and managers are invited to come along. Please place your names on the sheet and indicate if partners are coming. There will be a game of bowls at 10:30am alternating triples over 15 ends followed by a BBQ lunch. No cost.
