Local identity Rozanne Muscat guest at Yamba Country

At our last Muster at Yamba on February 24, Brian Austin settled in nicely and provided the audience with his usual mix of material, sung in a very relaxed style, and not only enjoyed himself immensely, but made sure that his audience did likewise. On coming off stage, obviously satisfied with his presentation, he praised the support given by the backing band, claiming that they really bring the best out of any vocalist who has the opportunity to perform with them.

This coming Sunday April 28 Rozanne Muscat has that privilege. As John Warren’s sister, Rozanne is certainly no stranger to the backing that she will have on Sunday, having shared the stage with John and Peter Johnson virtually throughout her career, from in the early days of the Grafton Country Music Club, Casino’s Beef Week, and many other venues in the Grafton area. One person who has always followed Rozanne’s progress over the years with great interest is Steve Longhurst, who way back when, sold Rozanne the guitar that she still uses. Needless to say the standard of Sunday’s presentation will be up there with the best; do come along, you will not be disappointed.

Further down the track please note that due to illness Michael Craig will not be with us as advertised in May, but his spot has been filled by Darrel Craft.

Back to this Sunday however, music from noon till 4pm, lunch is available, $5 entry includes an afternoon cuppa.
