Helicopter ‘High Tea’

Delicious food and a wonderful afternoon were enjoyed when the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Service Grafton Volunteer Support Group hosted its 7th annual ‘Helicopter High Tea’ fundraiser on Sunday September 8 at the Grafton District Services Club. A total of $4115 was raised for this important service.

During the afternoon 134 guests were entertained by Kim Connor and a spring fashion parade with outfits courtesy of Rockmans. Tombolas and a raffle were also held to ensure lots of fun was had by all who attended.

Raffle winners were: 1st –       bar fridge – J Green; 2nd – timber wall clock – U Stone; 3rd – Hi-Fi – J Cotton; 4th – coffee maker – V Bowling; 5th – George Foreman grill – E Stephenson; 6th – Esky set – B Dodds; 7th – skillet – J Cotton.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Service Grafton Volunteer Support Group would like to thank everyone who came along and helped make the afternoon such a success. A special thank you to the GDSC management and staff, Hanks Kitchen, Rockmans, as well as the Jacaranda candidates and Matron of Honour. Also, a big thank you to Something Special Wedding and Function Decorators, Flowers by Bonnie and Paper Daisy Florists, all of whom helped with decorations.
