Friday October 1

Last Friday was an 18 hole Stableford. Glenda Chad has continued her fine form with a great score of 40 points from r/up Norma Carter 38 and Elaine Shand 34. We had a visitor for the week, Sonya Hickey from Cromer Golf Club.

Reminder the women’s Presentation night is fast approaching; Thursday November 14 is the date. The night will start off with drinks at 6.30pm, 7pm for presentation and dinner served at 7.30pm. Bookings are now being taken by Shirley or Jane so they can have numbers for catering purposes.

Finally, good luck to the women going to Byron Bay today to play in their tournament on Thursday and Friday. Hopefully you will find some green grass to play on. Our players that visited Armidale last weekend only found dry dirt to play off, not looking good for all our golf clubs without water or recycled water on the far North Coast.
