On Saturday February 10, 18 shooters shot from the 500 yard mound for the 3^rd stage of the Summer Cup. Shooters shot in scorching heat with a brutal mirage which was only broken by a light shower mid-afternoon. Possibles were shot by: Ian Griffiths with two, Wayne Pearson with one, Tony O’Keeffe with one, Nick Abrahall with one, Nick Cock with one, Peter Brown with one and John Bloomer with one. In Target Rifle, the Shopping World Butchery Top Off Rifle winner was Ian Griffiths who scored 100/100 with 7 centres.  Handicap honours went to Wayne Pearson with a total score of 104.5 In ‘F’ Class, the Shopping World Butchery Top Off Rifle winner was John Boomer with 117/120 with 10 centres. Handicap honours went to Dave Grundy with a total score 122.5 A reminder that the annual presentation is on February 24; all RSVPs and money for meals is to be in by Saturday February 17 for catering purposes.
