Grafton Midday Rotary to benefit from container vending machines

Grafton Midday Rotary is now a reverse vending machines local donation partner. The club has been approved to receive donations via Grafton and South Grafton Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs).

So locals, who deposit their recyclable containers at the RVMs, have the option to make a donation to Rotary as one of Grafton’s local charities.

Grafton Midday Rotary helps build local community wellbeing in many ways, primarily through service projects and youth programs. Examples include our major project for 2018/19 to replace the Grafton Hospital Intensive Care Unit defibrillator; our annual Frank Glasson Scholarship to assist disadvantaged uni students; six monthly second hand book sales; youth exchange program; youth transition scheme; youth enrichment program; annual carols community celebration; birthing kits for PNG and Pacific Islander midwives; supporting several community events such as Jacaranda Festival and Bridge, and much more.

The RVMs are off Spring Street, South Grafton (near the railway viaduct) and in the Shopping World carpark at the corner of Pound and Villiers Street, Grafton.

We will sincerely appreciate all donations received and guarantee that the funds will be used for worthwhile community and Rotary project.
