Wow that was a great opening for the Grafton ladies on the weekend and even the weather was kind; a big thank you to our sponsor for the day Narelle Want and the Jacaranda Hotel. Narelle also played alongside us to hand in a card for her return to golf. We look forward to her playing on a Wednesday in the near future; a big thank you also to Soo McPherson for her flower arrangements for the day. Not many clubs are privileged to have such a talented and willing person to brighten up the club room.
There was only one unfortunate incident, when Sally B had a fall on the 12th tee. She did however recover for our last hole and sunk a four metre putt from off the Green on the 1st to give us a birdie and put us in contention.

There are nine Grafton ladies travelling down to the Northern Beaches to play a week of golf in the Barrenjoey Week of Golf. We wish them well and will hear the results at a later date.
For those wanting to improve their game there is a coaching clinic on March 11 conducted by Julie Powell and Mark Harvison. There will be two sessions and the cost is $50 per session; bookings essential, phone 6642 5413.
