GDSC women’s bowls
Playing numbers were a little down on Tuesday week because the final of the District Triples was being played at our Club between two of our teams, so many of our members came along to watch this game.
Winners on Tuesday were T. Walsh, M. Toovey and N. Dunn defeating T. Walsh, M. McClaer and M. Elliott. On the other rink S. Hillier, K. Power and Ethel Neal defeated T. Shorten, J. Wilkinson and D. Walsh.
Competition winners were J. Pugh, A. Williams, B. Murray and D. Rapley. There was no resting toucher today.
It was lovely to see our friend Ethel from Nowra joining us for a few weeks of bowls while they are passing through on a trip.
A reminder that we have a general meeting next Tuesday 19th after bowls and we hope to see a good attendance at this meeting.
Club Championship Triples begin next Tuesday so check the notice board to see when you play.
If you have been watching the Bowls Show on SBS each Sunday at 3pm, I would like to remind you that it is on at 12.30 next week so tune in at the earlier time.
