CVC fine

I read with great disbelief that CVC has been fined for a repeat offence for cutting down a sacred aboriginal tree.

I ask CVC why would you go and cut down a tree that you have already in the past been fined for.

This to me is blatant disregard for the aboriginal people’s beliefs. In the past year council asked for submissions of how to save money and they do this; a fine of a total of according to newspapers of $348,000.

Does the CVC expect the rate payers of this shire cover their stupidity?
