Semi finalists returned to Maclean BC to compete for the title of CRDWBA Triples Champions on Tuesday March 5; all intent on playing in the final.

Results

In the semi finals J. Pugh, A. Williams, B. Murray (GDS) d S. Lindsay, J, Pryor, K. Pedder (Y) 22-14 and H. Atkinson, K. Mason, W. Ballantyne (Y) d L. Duncan, B. Cross, C. Ritale (Y) 23-9.

Both these games didn’t do the scores justice with each player giving their all.

In the afternoon final it was down to the nitty gritty with all players fuelled up and ready to go.

J. Pugh, A. Williams, B. Murray (GDS) d H. Atkinson, K. Mason, W. Ballantyne (Y) 19-18.

It turned out to be a typical final with one team going ahead then the other catching up. Only on the last end Grafton District Services Club sealed the win.

Congratulations to Joe Pugh, Annette Williams, Bev Murray the CRDWBA 2019 Triples Champions.
