Country Darts Championships at Grafton Golf Club

Last weekend we had the Country Darts Championships at Grafton Golf Club. The championships are held once a year for players from country NSW, from Hexham to Murwillumbah and out to Tamworth. Each year it is held at a different town. Anyone can play, as long as they have an average and are registered with a darts association. It was a great weekend of darts and meeting people and having fun. We played singles pairs and mixed pairs. The winners and runners up in each division receive prizes as well. If anyone would like to play competition darts in the Clarence region, there are clubs at Grafton and Maclean (Lower Clarence Darts Sporting Assoc) and they both have a Facebook page. Or you can play social darts at Maclean Bowling Club every Tuesday night at 7pm or competition darts on Thursday nights at different venues. Team nominations must be lodged by the AGM to be held on January 28 at 7.30pm at Maclean Bowling Club for the next comp in February. Anyone can join or get a team of four to six players for a team.
