Attention all members of the Clarence District Past Presidents Association. I trust you all had a wonderful Christmas and are now looking forward to a great year of catching up with friends and bowling.
Our first meeting for this year is February 16 and for
the first time, at Wooli Bowling Club. The day begins with morning tea at
9.30am and we commence our game of bowls by 10am followed by lunch and
then our meeting set to commence at 1pm.
If you are not a member of the Clarence District Past
Presidents and would like to be part of the fun, come along and join up. The
only requirements to be able to join as a social member, are that you are
already a registered bowling member and would like to join our fun on the green
for a social game with nice people. Those people who have been presidents in
the past, are eligible for full membership but need to be ready for a relaxed
social game of the sport we love.
… the Independent would like to ask for your support. The community is reading our paper more than ever and embracing the content we produce, but advertising revenues across the media as a whole, are falling. Unlike other news organizations we do not charge for our publication – so, to keep our community connected and deliver the local news to your door we would like to ask for your help..... to keep the Independent bringing you all the local community news takes a lot of time, hard work and people power, But we do it because we believe our presence matters – who else tells it how it is, where it is, and what it is.
If you like our journalism, if you like the community news, if you like our sports coverage we would love it if you could help fund it, our future may depend on it.
For as little as $5, you can support the Independent – Thank you.
