Brushgrove social golf

The weather was kind to us for our day out at Casino golf club on St. Patricks Day, March 17 for the Paul Harrison Trophy game. Twelve members made up the field with the eventual winner being Warren (Wazza) Heffernan with a nett 37, from Paul Dwyer (nett 41) on a c/b from, Graeme Smith and fourth place to Judy Want (nett 42).

The NTP prize was safe as no one was able to land on the green. Least puts went to Graeme Smith with 15. Drive and pitch went to Judy Want and Wazza hit the longest drive.

After lunch we played a social foursomes game to complete the day. Winners were Colleen Stockwell and Robbie Leek with a nett 43.25 from Bruce Newberry and Wazza (nett 48.25) and Graeme Smith and Garry Stockwell (nett 53.5). Least puts went to Colleen and Robbie with 16. Drive and pitch to Wazza and Bruce and longest drive to Robbie and Colleen.

Our next scheduled game is at Maclean golf club on April 14 for the Copmanhurst Challenge (2 person Ambrose). The bus will depart from Brushgrove Hotel if we have sufficient numbers. Keep tabs on your emails from Gwen for updates and let her know if you are coming and if you will be on the bus.
