Apply for heritage grants of up to $100,000

The Clarence Valley communities are great at protecting our local cultural assets and now the NSW Government is ready to lend a hand with grants of $10,000 to $100,000 for worthy projects, according to Clarence Nationals MP Chris Gulaptis. “Applications are now open for this year’s Heritage Activation grants which can be used to enhance publicly accessible heritage like buildings, monuments and parks,” Mr Gulaptis said. According to the rules these grants are for projects that actively encourage community interaction and participation with publicly accessible heritage items that are listed on a local council’s Local Environmental Plan. Applications close on 20 April 2018 for projects that begin after 1 July 2018.
